One of CEDaR’s core objectives is to facilitate recording projects or initiatives, normally five each year. These projects are typically partnerships between a number of funders and members of the wider recording community.
These projects can be simple local recording initiatives that relate to a species, for example the cuckoo or ground beetles or they may relate to the flora of a specific county; such as the rare plant registers compiled for Counties Down and Antrim. Other projects may be all-Ireland in remit, for example, DragonflyIreland, LichenIreland and OrchidIreland.
CEDaR staff will be happy to discuss any past, current or potential projects with enquirers.
