The Belfast Room
It is possible to have your whole wedding both ceremony & reception at the Ulster Museum if you are looking for something a little different. The Belfast Gallery is on the ground floor overlooking Stranmillis Road. It has its own private entrance hall where the bride can prepare before walking up the aisle. It is a beautiful light and airy space for your wedding ceremony.

Restaurant
The glass front Ulster Museum restaurant overlooking Botanic Gardens is a lovely space for a drinks reception before moving into the Welcome Area for dinner. It is a split level restaurant with a combination of dark wood tables & chairs and red leather seating. There are a number of doors from the restaurant leading directly into Botanic Gardens and onto the terraced area. In the event of good weather it is also possible to hold your drinks reception on the terrace overlooking Botanic Gardens.

Welcome Area
After your wedding ceremony has taken place while you and your new husband/wife are having your photographs taken in the Museum grounds or perhaps Botanic Gardens your guests may spend some time having a look around the museum. The welcome area is a beautiful contemporary space for your wedding celebrations. It is beautiful space if you are going for a simple or contemporary look and it requires little dressing. Alternatively it is a fantastic canvas to build on if you want to add colour and detail to your reception.

Car parking
No parking is available in the grounds of the Ulster Museum. There is on-street parking in the surrounding area.

The Ulster Museum is situated in Belfast's Botanic Gardens, right in the heart of the University area of South Belfast, approximately 1 mile from the city centre.
