design : day dress of salmon pink crepe with c/f opening at neck, this fastens with one hook and two press studs at neckedge and is decorated with a self bow which draws together collar at front, the shoulders are decorated by self covered piping worked in scroll pattern onto which the sleeves are finely gathered forming slight puffs. The sleeves end above elbow length, have one tuck at hem and fasten by two hooks under arm The bodice has two sets of three darts at front above waistline and fastens at left hand side with six hooks. The skirt is slightly flared and has a narrow gore insert at centre back. There is a slef overstitched belt at waistline. Hemline, back gore and waistline are finely coverstitched and self coloured cotton. condition : good.
