A circular silver medal suspended from a faded pale blue ribbon which has a silver scroll top and bottom and a 6cm pin at the back. The face of the medal has a square and compass design mounted on it giving it a three dimensional relief effect. Around the edge also in relief is written "Abercorn Masonic Lodge 219" On the reverse is inscribed the following. "Presented to | W. Bro. Major David G. Shillington DL., M.P. | by | Masonic Lodge 219 | . 1931 . Above this in small letters is stamped "Mc C & D. - Silver"
