There are a range of incentive options available at the Ulster American Folk Park. The details of the incentive programme can be tailored to your individual requirements. This will depend on the date and time requested and the number of people involved. An example of an incentive programme at the Ulster American Folk Park is outlined below:

  • You will enjoy a guided tour of the museum site observing several traditional Old & New World Crafts. Meet the Blacksmith, Weaver, Corn Dolly Maker, Harness Maker, Cooper and Wheelwright.
  • You will sample some traditional baked pancakes and soda bread baked on the open hearth fire in the Mellon Homestead or sample some Corn Muffins and Apple Butter in the Log Cabin.
  • After which you will enjoy some whiskey and Guinness tasting in Reilly's Pub and listen to some storytelling in Tullyallen Masshouse before enjoying a barbeque style lunch in the New World area.

Additional information

Catering

There are a number of different catering options depending on the structure of your day, number of guests and space being used. You may have a buffet style lunch, an open air barbeque or Hog Roast. A Barbeque can be provided sampling traditional rare breed beef and chicken with spit roast, suckling pig, fresh Glenarm Salmon all served with an assortment of salads using fresh and local produce. The exact menu style and selection can be discussed and agreed with the caterer directly. It is also possible to organize ice-cream, pop corn and candy floss stands.

Car parking

Parking is available in the grounds of the Ulster American Folk Park. There are 12 parking bays for coaches and 275 car spaces as well as 14 disabled spaces.

Location

The Ulster American Folk Park is 45 minutes from Derry and 1.5 hours from Belfast. It is 4 miles north of Omagh on the A5 road to Strabane.
