The sessions involve exploring the collections through activities such as mystery objects, object detectives and trails. Each day takes a different theme from toys, homes, art, war and even bats!

Children have been making a range of associated crafts, for example, making puppets, designing flick books, weaving and felting to name a few!

This is a new programme which is part of the Museum’s family provision which includes annual seasonal event days such as Halloween, Christmas and Easter. The popularity of Museum Mornings should ensure that it becomes a fixture in the event calendar.
