A strong connection with Omagh Rugby Club was forged when the Mellon family helped to purchase land for the club’s facilities some 55 years ago. Today, the Omagh Rugby Club is at Thomas Mellon Park, Mellon Park Drive, just a short distance from the Mellon family ancestral homestead which is now the Ulster American Folk Park.
The bond is renewed this year with special arrangements for accommodation for camping and caravans at the club during the 18th Annual Appalachian and Bluegrass Music Festival with a regular free shuttle bus service to and from the Ulster American Folk Park.

- Friday from 12.00pm to 11.00pm
- Saturday from 10.00am to 11.00pm
- Sunday from 10.00am to 7.00pm
Mini-bus from the Ulster American Folk Park to Rugby Club leaving on the half hour, every hour:
- Friday from 12.30pm to 12.30am
- Saturday from 10.30am to 12.30am
- Sunday from 10.30am to 9.30pm
