Making Connections is a programme of open afternoons for anyone aged 50+, which offer the opportunity to take part in a range of free activities, workshops and demonstrations.
Making Connections takes place third Wednesday of every month at the Ulster American Folk Park. See the full programme from October- March outlined below.

Moving Lives film installation in Tullyallen Masshouse with talk by Film Maker Mairead Mc Clean and Professor Brian Lampkin in Centre of Migration Studies. Please book in advance
Drama performances and stories from Castletown School. This is an opportunity for participation!
- Wednesday 14th December (please note activity in December will take place on the 2nd Wednesday of the Month)
Create traditional Christmas tree decorations to take home and help decorate the Museum site.
Warriors of the Plains exhibition tour and illustrated talk on “Crafts and Customs of the Native American Indians” by curator Winfred Glover
Try Traditional crafts like spinning, basket making, farmhouse baking and corn dolly making
Explore potions and cures of the past in this demonstration and talk.
