Join us this St Patrick's day to celebrate the "American Wake". Countless thousands of people left Ireland in the 1700s and 1800s. For many, the hours before departure became known as the American or Living Wake.
Re-live this dramatic re-enactment, complete with music, song and dance, as the family gathered to bid a sad farewell to the departing emigrant. Watch the re-enactment complete with music and song performances at 12 noon and 2.00pm. Booking in advance is not necessary.
