Straw Work
Harvest knots made of straw are a traditional sign that the harvest is all gathered in. They are also a way of giving thanks and a token of affection. This activity encourages co-operation between students. Further examples of harvest knots can be found in the Food & Farming exhibition in the Folk Galleries.
