Traditional Arts and Crafts
Every year the Ulster Folk and Transport Museum offers classes and workshops in a wide range of traditional arts and crafts. If you would like to learn a new craft or make more of your skills, you simply have to decide which course interests you and send the booking form back to us.
Typical courses offered include:

- Natural Dyeing
- Green Wood Turning
- Tiffany Glass
- Spinning
- Weaving
- Crochet and Tatting
- Willow Weaving – Living willow sculpture, basket making, mummers masks
Where possible, items from the Museum’s collections are used as a basis for all the workshops.
If you have a group of 6 or more people, we may be able to organise some of the courses at a date and time that best suits you.
