Northern Ireland has long been associated with aircraft production.  The Ulster Folk and Transport Museum's aviation collection includes a dozen aircraft. One of the most interesting is a Short Sealand flying boat.  Designed and built in Belfast, in 1952 for a wealthy Egyptian, this twin-engined aircraft was originally fitted with a bookcase and a wine rack, in keeping with her status as a flying yacht.

Booking in advance is not necessary.
