Other substantial holdings include scenes of Belfast and a major portrait collection including a significant group of commissioned portraits, generally of local people who have achieved fame in the arts. These include Seamus Heaney, James Galway, Brian Friel, Barry Douglas, Michael Longley and John Montague.
