Raiders Traders and Settlers
Using a range of authentic artefacts and replica objects and an interactive problem-solving discussion, pupils will have the opportunity to explore how Viking objects were made and used and to develop an understanding of how archaeologists interpret the past.
- The World Around Us: to investigate how people used to live, including roles and responsibilities in society and how these have changed (I,COT);
- to use different types of evidence to find out about the past e.g written, visual and physical evidence (P, COT).
