'Hans' together for Top Science Students

Northern Ireland’s top three science students were recognised today in one of the province’s most prestigious academic awards held at the Ulster Museum. Gareth Gamble, Laura Bateman and Manvi Singhal were presented with the Hans Sloane award by guest speaker, Dr Stanley Hawkins, Consultant Neurologist at the Royal Victoria Hospital.

Saturday Family Matinees return to the Ulster Museum

One of the Ulster Museum’s best loved traditions is to return as ‘Movies at the Museum’; a series of Saturday family matinees linked to stunning exhibits in the museum galleries, is launched in partnership with QFT. In response to popular demand, the matinees will take place every Saturday afternoon for six weeks, over January and February reviving a tradition which started at the Ulster Museum in 1929 and continued until the mid 1970’s.
