Inspired by the current exhibition Street Art, Live and Learn are hosting 3 contemporary needlework workshops for the over 50s led by artist and conservator Nuala Maguire.
Using motifs from local street art, Nuala has created contemporary cross stitch samplers, which, when completed, will be added to the on-going collaborative art installation, The Graffiti Living Room, currently on display in the Ulster Museum Discover Art Zone. Participants will be able to claim their sampler at the end of the exhibition in early March.
This is an opportunity to take part in a large scale collaborative art project co-ordinated by the Ulster Museum, learn or improve you needlework skills and meet some like minded craft enthusiasts!
There will be 3 workshops:
