Saturday 1 - Sunday 2 October
If you're booked to come to Ulster Folk Museum this weekend or planninng to visit, you should allow extra time for your journey due to roadworks on the Sydenham Bypass. Just follow the diversions that will be in place to get here on time.
We're really looking forward to welcoming you to the Ulster Folk Museum! Pre-book your date and arrival window now. Walk up admissions are possible but we recommend pre-booking on weekends and event days.
Journey back in time to rediscover Ulster as it was over a century ago. Explore rolling hills of countryside and a bustling town filled with authentic period buildings. See daily demonstrations of traditional crafts from basket weaving to printing and meet the costumed guides bringing it all to life. Your favourite stories and objects are waiting for you.
Although no longer necessary, we recommend you still wear a face covering when inside any of our buildings at the Folk Museum for the protection of yourself and others, as advised here by Government guidelines, unless you are exempt.
If you feel more at ease wearing a face covering but forget to bring your own, there will be some available at the admission kiosk.
We have a limited number of mobility scooters and wheelchairs available for any visitors with additional accessibility needs. These can be booked in advance by emailing [email protected].
