The Weighing Room, Hurst Park (1924)
The piece shows a weighing room at the horse racing in Hurst Park. To the right jockeys in bright colours uniforms queue and to the left men in suits and bowler hats sit at a table and take notes. Central to the scene, a jockey is being weighed using large scales attached to the ceiling. He sits on one side and another suited man applies weights to the other side of the scale.
