CEDaR - Centre for Environmental Data and Recording
CEDaR is the Local Records Centre (LRC) for Northern Ireland and supports biological recording through working in partnerships with numerous individuals and organisations. It collects, stores, manages and releases information on the wildlife of Northern Ireland and its coastal waters. It also manages a number of recording initiatives, such as species surveys, websites and training courses.
CEDaR aims to ensure that fit-for-purpose biological records are available for education, research, monitoring, nature conservation, planning, policy and commercial enquiries.
