S B with fly front fastening - four black plastic buttons. Buttons to neck, front edge curve slightly, and lower edge of fronts slope down to side seam. A deep inverted pleat c.19cm deep is a strong feature on each front, made obvious by white cotton binding which trims all edges - neck, front, hem sleeves. Jacket is lined only in shoulder section. The look is always effecrive but it can be relatvely simple produced, as in this strong but wearable outfit, or it can be much more complex, and veer towards 'fashion as art.' He has designed clothes which become furniture, and was one of the exhibitors, rightly so, in London's recent 'Radical Fashion' exhibition at the Victoria and Albert Museum.
