Cookie cutter, heart-shaped with strap handle. Metal. Grandmother of donor. Isabella Dunne, emigrated to America. She brought this back from New York to Ireland with her. Family history of Isabella Hamilton, (married name DUNNE) Irvine Hamilton (1843-1915), a farmer, lived at Drumsonnis, Ballinamallard. Married twice. 1st Marriage to Anne Jane Moffitt, born 1840, died age 41 years. Married: Kilskeery parish. 6 children Catherine (1862) Allan (1866) Rebecca Jane (1868) Irvine (1870) Mary (1874) William King (1876) They all emigrated to America, only Catherine returned to live near Ballinamallard. 2nd Marriage to Henrietta Armstrong. Married Tirwinny parish near Lack. 5 children ISABELLA (owner of tin cookie cutter) (1884) emigrated to USA and returned Edward (1885) died aged 3 years James (1887) emigrated to USA Henrietta (1888) emigrated to USA and returned Elizabeth (?) emigrated ISABELLA emigrated to USA where she found employment for five years with Mr Cheseborough and family (makers of 'Vaseline'), in their home at 5th Avenue, New York. Isabella returned home to Ireland (date unknown) and lived with her sister Henrietta, in a house in Ballinamallard, built by their father, Irvine Hamilton. Isabella met William Dunne, who later became her husband, when he came with his family from Portumna, County Galway and lodged in their home in Ballinamallard. Isabella married William about 1916, having purchased her father's farm at Drumsonnus, County Tyrone with money earned in America. This became their family home and business. They had 4 sons and 1 daughter. Isabella died 1973, having been predeceased by her husband in 1963.
