Murder Murder

Police leaflet appealing for information via the Confidential Telephone relating to the petrol bombing of the La Mon House Hotel, Gransha Road, Castlereagh, Belfast. In February 1978, 12 people were killed and 23 injured by an IRA incendiary bomb at the La Mon House Hotel. Cans of petrol were attached to the bomb which sent fire sweeping through the hotel dining room. Many of the hotel guests escaped from windows with their clothes on fire. The Royal Ulster Constabulary later distributed copies of this leaflet showing the badly burned remains of one of the victims and asking for information regarding those responsible for the attack.
