Remember Remember the 15th of November

Description:

This poster was produced in the wake of the 1985 Anglo-Irish Agreement. Many unionists believed the Agreement gave the Irish Government undue influence in Northern Ireland affairs and accused the British government and Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher of treachery. The poster refers to the rhyme concerning the gunpowder plot of 5 November 1605 but instead has ‘Thatchery, Treason and Plot.’
