Republican picture 'Meon na Saoirse'

Description:

Republican picture made in Long Kesh entitled Meon na Saoirse (Spirit of Freedom). It features portraits of Hunger Strikers and prisoners on the dirty protest, a clinched fist, a poem and an H Block watch-tower. Perspex was used instead of glass for security reasons within the jail. The picture was signed by a prisoner called Bobby in 1997.
