Parking & transport

  • Coaches can stop on the Stranmillis Road to drop off students.
  • Disabled students - if parking is needed for minibuses or cars please call in advance 028 9044 0100.
  • If travelling by train, Botanic Station is 10 minutes’ walk away.

Arrival

  • Pupils will be expected to leave coats, lunches and drinks in boxes provided.  They should keep money and valuables with them.
  • Payments for lessons can be made at the reception desk.

Eating

  • Teachers need to book a slot in the lunchroom (Grainger Room) for breaks and lunches. 
  • If the weather is good, picnics in Botanic Gardens are a good alternative.
  • Teachers can buy take-away coffee/tea from Yellowdoor Café to drink in the lunchroom.
  • No eating or drinking is allowed on the galleries.
  • Let us know if your group plans to use Yellowdoor Café.

Toilets

  • There are toilets exclusively for school use off the lunchroom.
  • Leave plenty of time if you plan to visit the shop.
  • It is best to divide classes into groups of 10 or less and stagger their visit.
