Here is a rough guide to how much time you should allow in order to get the most from your visit:

  • Irish Railway Collection 1-2 hours
  • Road Transport Galleries 1-2 hours
  • Land, Sea and Sky Galleries 1 hour

Not to be missed

When you arrive at the admissions desk you will be given a ‘What’s On Today’ sheet to help plan your days visit, which details activities such as the Berkeley Bear trail for kids.

Permanent exhibitions at the Ulster Transport Museum

The Transport Museum creatively displays one of Europe’s largest and most comprehensive transport collections in our permanent galleries.  From horse-drawn carriages to Irish built motor cars and from the mighty steam locomotives that graced our railways to the history of ship and aircraft building, the permanent galleries are well worth a visit.
