When you arrive

We have missed you! Our Welcome Team will be there to warmly welcome you and answer any questions you may have. Useful information regarding your arrival is also provided below to help you plan ahead.

Keeping you safe

Help us keep you safe. Remember to wash your hands regularly or make use of our hand sanitiser stations dotted around the museum and keep a safe distance from other visitors and staff.

If you’re feeling under the weather, please refrain from visiting the museum. Find more information about the new safety and hygiene measures we have here

Face coverings

We strongly recommend that visitors wear face coverings at our sites. Face coverings will be available to purchase in our museum shop if you forget to bring your own.

Children under 13 don’t have to wear a face covering and remember, there are circumstances that make it difficult for some people to wear a face covering.

For more information on the government guidelines on wearing face coverings check out www.nidirect.gov.uk and www.publichealth.hscni.net

Checking your ticket

You will receive confirmation of your booking via email. On arrival at the Ulster Museum, you may need to queue for a few minutes while we scan tickets. At busy times you may be required to queue outside. We appreciate your patience as we ensure your arrival is as quick and as safe as possible.

Late arrivals

Be sure to arrive at the museum in good time. In the event of late arrival, we will try our best to process your booking, however entry cannot be guaranteed.
