When you arrive

We have missed you! Our Welcome Team will be there to warmly welcome you and answer any questions you may have. Useful information regarding your arrival is also provided below to help you plan ahead.

Keeping you safe

Help us keep you safe. Remember to wash your hands regularly or make use of our hand sanitiser stations dotted around the museum and keep a safe distance from other visitors and staff.

If you’re feeling under the weather, please refrain from visiting the museum. Find more information about the new safety and hygiene measures we have here

Face coverings

We’re following all the current guidelines from government and public health advice. So we are encouraging visitors to wear face coverings – especially if you fancy a wander around our museum shop. Don’t worry if you forget yours, we’ll have some available for you to buy when you’re here.

Children under 13 don’t have to wear a face covering and remember, there are circumstances that make it difficult for some people to wear a face covering. For more information on the government guidelines on wearing face coverings check out and
