Colours are powerful, emotional, symbolic – they illuminate the development of trade, politics, science and the natural world, wrapped up in stories of religion, myth, history and personal experience. This series of illustrated talks will look at the use of colour in fine art from poisonous yellows to emotional reds and ethereal blues.

These lectures will take place on Tuesdays from 11am - 12pm from 24 September until 3 December 2019.

Please note there will be no session on the 22nd October
