Join us in a celebration of Robert Burns, Scotland’s National Poet, at the Ulster Folk Museum on 29th January 2022.

Recognised the world over, Burns' poetry focuses on love and nature with a touch of good old fashioned Scottish humour. Enjoy poetry readings such as “To A Mouse”, “To a Louse” and “Tam O’Shanter” in the ambient setting of our exhibition houses. Try traditional neeps and tatties cooked on the griddle over an open fire, and visit our town school to take a lesson in Ulster Scots. Witness the spectacle that is the address to the haggis and complete your experience by joining us in singing  Burn’s infamous  “Auld Lang Syne”.

Visit our Ballycultra Tearooms and enjoy traditional Scottish fayre.

Opening hours: 11:00 - 16:00.
