Stroll through the cobble stone streets and drop in to our exhibit houses, bedecked in traditional Christmas decorations. Soak up the sights, sounds and smells this festive season.

See traditional Christmas decorations being made and take away a craft bag to make your very own orange pomander to hang on your Christmas tree at home.

Call into Tea Lane and see how Christmas was celebrated in years gone by.  Be sure to stop into the Bank Manger's home where you will be able to experience a much grander Christmas celebration and then you can decide which one you would have been having over 100 year ago.

Sample some traditional Christmas fayre and don’t forget to call into the pub and enjoy some mulled wine!

Bring along your letter to Father Christmas and post it in our very own Post Office. The post master has as bit of a problem this year and will need your help. A gust of wind blew some letters out of his hands. Can you follow his trail and help him find them and identify his favourite Christmas treat?

Wrap up warm and take a stroll out along the country lanes of our rural museum and call into our Corradreenan Farm House.  Soak up the seasonal sights and smells of a traditional, rural Christmas from over 100 years ago with smells of peat fires, oil lamps and Christmas puddings being baked over the fire.

When you have finished all that you'll be ready for a bit of refreshment, so make sure you leave enough time to visit Ballycultra Tearooms where you can treat you and the family to some lovely mouth-watering seasonal delicacies.

We have lots of beautiful, traditional Christmas gifts in our gift shop where you can pick up that last minute Christmas gift.
