Crafternoon Tea – Decoupage box 

Saturday 6th January

Time: 1.30pm – 3.45pm

Little Christmas or Women’s Christmas is a tradition where, for one day, the men do all the household chores leaving the women free to relax. Have afternoon tea as you decorate a box using a decoupage technique.

Crafternoon Tea – Zip brooch                     

Sunday 14th January

Time: 1.30pm – 3.45pm

After the hustle and bustle of Christmas, relax and spend time with like-minded crafters over afternoon tea in the Museum’s 1900s Photographic studio. While away the time as you chat and under the guidance of our tutor, learn how to sew a brooch using a zip.

Crafternoon Tea – embroidered handkerchief        

Saturday 20th January

Time: 10.30am – 12.45pm

Join us over morning tea to learn simple embroidery stitches. Our tutor will guide you as you embellish the corners of a traditional cotton lady’s handkerchief. This class is held in the Museum’s 1900s Photographic studio.
