We're celebrating Ferguson Tractor Day this year and marking 75 years of the “Wee Grey Fergie” with our friends from the Ferguson Heritage Tractor Society.
See the 'Wee Grey Fergie' and other vintage Ferguson tractors in all their glory at Ulster Transport Museum from 10am.
From there, they'll make their way to the unique setting of The Diamond in Ballycultra village in the heart of the Ulster Folk Museum at 12noon. You'll learn how these innovating feats of engineering, created by Harry Ferguson who hailed from County Down, changed the face of agriculture and farming across the world.
Get involved in awarding your choice for top tractor with our 'Ballycultra Best in Show Cup'.
Enjoy wandering the country paths of the Folk Museum at your leisure and take in the sights, sounds and smells of rural Ulster as it would have been over 100 years ago.
See a variety of traditional crafts such as forge work, linen and tweed weaving, printing and basket making being shown by our expert craft demonstrators. Drop into our gift shop and purchase one of their bespoke creations as a memento of your visit.
Relax in Ballycultra Tearooms and enjoy lunch by Loaf or a refreshing cuppa and sweet treat.
