Christmas Rag Rug Wreath

Sunday 25th November

Time: 10.30am – 4.00pm

Using traditional Rag Rug techniques and recycled fabric you will create a festive wreath ready to hang on your door at Christmas. 

Fee: £35/£30 (concession) + £8 to tutor for materials

Prodded Rag Rug                        

Saturday 16th February

Time: 10.30am – 4.00pm

Taking inspiration from the Museum’s collection of rag-rugs you will learn a prodding technique as you recycle old fabric to create your unique rag-rug. As you create your rug our tutor will talk about the tradition of rag rug making in Ireland.

Rag Rug Flower Brooch

Saturday 18th May

Time: 10.30am – 12.30pm

Time: 1.30pm – 3.30pm

Spend a few hours with our tutor learning a rag rug technique. This will then be used to create a flower brooch.
