Brighten your Sunday morning with a little poetry!
Join poet Doireann Ní Ghríofa in exploring the Ulster Museum through poetry. Each session will illuminate a different aspect of the art and artefacts within the museum. Together, we will explore the museum, examining various themes through poems, and writing our own poems in response to what we find. These sessions are open to all levels of writing, and to all languages. Cuirfear fáilte roimh chách.
Doireann Ní Ghríofa is a bilingual writer whose books explore birth, death, desire, and domesticity. Among her awards are the Rooney Prize for Irish Literature and she was recently awarded a Seamus Heaney Centre fellowship by Queen's University.
