Join us on 24th September for our Surf and SUP event on Belfast Lough! Celebrate all things on the water with this special autumnal paddleboard session and guided coastal tour with the team from SUP HUB NI.

To coincide with the opening of our 'Celtic Wave: A History of Surfing in Ireland' exhibition, this experience will get you out on the water at the museum and inspire you to think about surfing and sustainability!

Make your way to the coastal path through the Museum gate at the rear of the site and from there, an hour of good craic awaits! Once settled on the water, the team will point out local wildlife, tell you about the history of the area and show you the beauty of Belfast Lough from an on-the-water perspective. Learn how SUP HUB NI are making sustainable choices and take part in an on-the-water litter pick!

This event includes access to Ulster Transport Museum and our 'Celtic Wave: A History of Surfing in Ireland' exhibition, so take a look around our museum after your paddle boarding session. Find out more about our 'Celtic Wave; A History of Surfing in Ireland' exhibition here
