Join natural sciences curator, Mike Simms, for a leisurely guided tour of some of the natural sites at the Ulster Folk Museum to get up-close and personal with some of the ‘lower plants’ that are so often overlooked. Discover their miniature beauty, learn about their importance to ecosystems, what they can tell us about our environment, and why Ireland is a mossy ‘hot spot’. Bring a hand lens/loupe/magnifying glass if you can.
Please meet at the water pump in the town diamond.
